The Hermeneutical Process
A responsible pursuit of truth requires a knowledge of the Word of God and a sound, informed interpretation of it before any attempt to teach, rebuke, correct, or train. The Biblical writers made it very clear that there is no subjectivity when it comes to the use of God’s Word, and so a responsible interpretation of it is essential.
An Example from Genesis 11
The Tower of Babel is a bookend for the primeval history account in Genesis, which effectively sets the stage for the larger story of God’s redemption of the world through the family of Abram.
